HASHTAG coordinator Tamme van der Wal has presented HASHTAG project at the annual IACS Community Exchange conference in Reims.
The 400+ delegates consisting of agricultural paying agencies and European Commission were informed of the relevance and importance of authentication of GNSS and EO data and how HASHTAG is contributing to those topics.
It was discussed with delegates on the importance of OSNMA and hope for a similar development in EO as paying agencies rely more and more on satellite data for the checks and agricultural payments.
The conference expanded on satellite data, and data sharing through data space.
It is clear that only trusted, authenticated data can fuel this data sharing process.
