HASHTAG presented at CLMS National Event

HASHTAG was highlighted at the recent CLMS National Event, organised by the Netherlands Space Agency – NLSA.

The discussion on future CLMS 3.0 programme (2028-2035) made one thing clear: Copernicus Land Monitoring Service data must become AI-ready.

HASHTAG coordinator Tamme van der Wal from AeroVision B.V. underlined that the AI-ready Earth Observation data needs more than availability. It needs quality assurance, veracity, traceability and trust.

This is exactly where HASHTAG contributes: by strengthening trust through authentication, provenance and veracity of Earth Observation and GNSS data for agriculture.

As EO data becomes increasingly used in AI-based systems, compliance monitoring, field robotics and decision-making with reduced human intervention, trusted data foundations are no longer optional.

As Tamme put it: “It ain’t FAIR if you can’t TRUST it.”
